What is SimpleForum?
SimpleForum Pro/Lite is a forum that is made to work on all HTTP servers supporting CGI. The idea was to make a powerful forum, with all the necessary features, and yet keep it simple to install, configure and maintain. Power and simplicity is what SimpleForum stands for.

What the difference between SimpleForum Pro and SimpleForum Lite?
In August 2003 SimpleForum was divided into two different scripts: SimpleForum Pro and SimpleForum Lite. Lite is still a free download, available from the Download page. SimpleForum Pro is SimpleForum Lite's big brother and contains a lot more features. For a detailed comparison, please see the version history.

What are the system requirements for SimpleForum?
You only need a CGI enabled webserver. Works on any platform (Unix, Linux, Mac OSX, Windows, etc). Simpleforum does not require any additional modules.

What is CGI?
The Common Gateway Interface (CGI) is a standard for interfacing external applications with information servers, such as HTTP or Web servers.

Where should I report bugs?
Report bugs to the bug reports forum, which can be accessed through here.

Where should I send feedback and requests?
Feedback is much appreciated and can be posted to the forums. This is also the place to make suggestions for new features.
